So there has been a major Adobe Photoshop Lightroom update, and it FREAKED ME OUT! Here’s why…
I often edit photos, then push them through to Photoshop so I can further tweak them. Especially exporting the photos as layers into Photoshop, that’s really helpful and easy. But while I was getting my head around the new Lightroom, I couldn’t see where to do that, I was going crazy!
Just before throwing my laptop against a wall, I say an article from Adobe where they mentioned they were keeping the old Lightroom and that they’d continue to maintain and improve it, they’re calling that ‘Lightroom Classic’.
The new Lightroom is a cloud-based program, so when working on your pictures, they’re also on your phone, iPad and other computers/devices.
So the moral of the story is this…
Don’t lose your shit just yet, because the old Lightroom that we all love is not going anywhere just yet. Woohoo!!
